WELCOME TO THE HISTORIC MALBIS NURSERY!
LOCATED IN SCENIC DAPHNE, ALABAMA, THE HISTORIC MALBIS NURSERY STANDS AS A NOD TO THE VAST HISTORY OF OUR AREA. GREEK PHILANTHROPIST JASON MALBIS SETTLED THE TOWNSHIP OF MALBIS WITHIN DAPHNE IN 1906. HIS PROPERTY SPANNED OVER 150 ACRES, AND IT INCLUDED HIS PLANTATION, A BAKERY, AN ICE PLANT, FARMLAND, AND A GREENHOUSE. THAT GREENHOUSE WILL NOW BE A PART OF OUR HISTORY, AS WE WILL SAY OUR VOWS UNDER ITS VINE-COVERED ARBORS.
I fell in LOVE with this venue after a NEVER ENDING search.This was the last venue we looked at, and oh my goodness I'm so glad I didn't settle with any of the others. After sending Brandon pictures he told me if I loved it then so did he.
Isn't it just magical? I can't wait to see all of ideas come to life. The brain of that operation being wedding and event planner Ashley Newsome !!
under two separate vine covered arbors. The theme of this wedding is a garden inspired wedding with a vintage feel. The colors are blush, light pink, and a hint of robin egg blue. Now that's all you're going to get out of me :) The rest will be revealed on the big day so make sure you're there May 24th, 2014.
